Clay (Fast Dry) Tennis Courts are constructed of a natural crush or red stone which creates a firm yet forgiving court surface. The unique characteristics of a fast dry court provide several advantages over other court surfaces. Fast Dry courts are easy on the body, allowing a player to slide and recover under control, rather than sustaining the jarring stops associated with hard court play. Fast Dry courts provide a slower ball speed, allowing longer rallies, which helps players develop well rounded games. Water is absorbed like a sponge, thus allowing play shortly after a rain. The daily maintenance required on a Fast Dry court includes grooming after playing and watering (usually done during mid-day and at night). The life of a Fast Dry court is indefinite when properly cared for from year to year. |

Clay (Fast Dry ) Tennis Courts court construction can be provided by NRSM, Inc. by utilizing the most modern construction methods and the highest quality material available. After excavation, all bases courses are leveled with a laser controlled grader. All irrigation systems, curbing, fencing, and net posts are accurately installed while the base work is in progress. The final fast dry surface is laser graded to exact pitch which will allow the court to retain enough water to keep the surface moist, yet allow the excess water to run off. After the court has been compacted by rolling, the playing lines are installed. |

TENNIS COURT Conversion of hard courts (All Weather) to Fast Dry is a cost effective way to rehabilitate cracked hard courts. A modified stone screening base is installed on top of the existing hard court surface, followed by the fast dry surface course. In many cases the existing fence and net posts can be used on the new fast dry court. NRSM, Inc. Can also turn your Fast Dry Court into an All-Weather Hard Court. |
