Listed below are some of the key differences by others who may be listing their benches and bleachers as comparable to ours. "Beware of Phony Bleacher Bids" Key Differences 1. FRAMES- Ours is 100% aluminum angle. Be careful of those quoting "galvanized, steel angle iron" as equal. 2. SEAT PLANKS- Ours is 100% anodized aluminum with minimum wall thickness of .078. A thinner walled unit does not have the strength or support. Be careful of anyone offering coated steel planks which will rust out when the powder coating wears off. 3. FOOT PLANKS- Ours is 100% Mill Finish Aluminum. Be careful of those quoting steel foot planks. They could rust out and will need to be replaced. 4. END CAPS- Ours are die cut aluminum w/punched holes for screws. There are no holes to drill to complete installation. Be careful of those offering sheared aluminum channels where the customer is responsible drilling. 5. INDOOR USE- Our Tip N' Roll units come with rubber leg protectors so they can be used indoors or outdoors. Be careful of those units using steel vs. aluminum as the total body weight 400 lbs. and attempting to use these in a "tip over" fashion could damage your gym floors or cause personal injuries. 6. FRONT ROWS- Be very careful of knowing the exact height of each seat section and the overall units. We are seeing as much as 6" being cut off every seat height by other manufacturers trying to save money and lower their bids. This puts the first row at only 11" above the ground. 7. BACK & SIDE FENCING- We use 9 gauge wire and heavy duty fence piping, and attached it to the bleacher using heavy duty aluminum angle and channel. Anything less is asking for mechanical and safety problems. Don't be fooled by a low price. Our supplier has been in this business for 30 years. If you see bids or quotes that "seem too good to be true"- they are. Respectable manufacturers purchase aluminum at the same price. Anyone offering to deliver products at 30% less is not matching specs. Special Note: NRSM, Inc. will only be held responsible for the on time delivery of the products and its installation hardware. The buyer/owner is responsible for installing these units in the proper matter set forth by our manufacturer's instructions, as well as the seating/ building codes in that particular area.
